The Layette:

mom help!

mom... I need a tent.
mom... Scott got fired.
mom... I need your truck.
mom... HELP!

sigh... I love my kids, really I do :)

today I try to do the good thing. She pawned a couple of family rings that she had been given and tomorrow is the last day she can get them back. I told her to be here in the morning and we would go get them but that I would "own" them until she paid me back for them. She didn't bother to show up and then gets pissed at me for getting upset because I had to sit and wait on her. grrrrrRRRRRRR!!! I swear... lots and lots :)

ok I'm over it. we are going to BBQ tonight - sirloin tip roast. and I'm going to sit in that hot tub until I shrivel up! Then I'm going to sit in bed, gather my crocheting to me and maybe watch a damn show! *stomps foot!* 48 hour weekend and I'm going to be selfish and enjoy 2 hours of it dammit!

back to some form of reality

the Faire is over and what a blast!! All the decorating got done but as always we don't have enough time to get to everything. Most of the garb got put by the way side although Brie and Scott had their new matching outfits and looked wonderful :)

ATM, I"m working on some yo-yos to put together into an afghan someday. They are the perfect take along project. I sat at the tattoo place last night while Brie and I got new ink and crocheted my heart out and filled a baggie :)

Got to swapping patterns and ideas with the gal that inks us - seems she was going through her stash "cat proofing" it yesterday and laying aside stuff for new grand nephew things to make :)

I love finding friends in unusual places!

Roger: Doublet and codpiece
Brie: Skirt, Blouse, leather cincher and vest
Brie's Scott: Doublet, pants, shirt
Tim: Pants and jerkin
Scott: black and white parti-color something
Morgan: same as Scott
me: ??? who the heck knows lol I doubt I'll have time for anything new for myself this year.

And I have to finish the horses :) I love our joust :)

Check us out! Olde World Ren Faire
